Sunsets

A few southern sunsets created a world of good within me.

Time…Slow walks, beach sand in my toes, fried seafood and good coffee…all with a loved one.

Sometimes we have to sunset things. I think it is a new expression that means letting something go; like, “he is sunsetting his business.” That means it is slowly fading off into the distance in a blaze of color.

I realized after my little get away with my sweet girl, that I need to “sunset” some attitudes, some habits, and even some expectations of myself.

So maybe I need to say goodbye to a few things. How about you?

Need to let go of any of these?

“I can’t”

“I’m not enough.”

“I need____”

How about if tomorrow, when you wake up, you realize, “I can do anything I set my heart to.”
