Loved
I caught a quick moment with a dear friend today. Just having one person who cares about you, asks you the questions about what is most important to you- this is the real beauty in life. To take time, even 15 minutes, express interest, listen well. This kind of connection gives us so much bandwidth for life.
When we can stand in the midst of whatever comes our way, knowing we are seen and known and loved by one person, we have hope. We all have hurts and heartaches, but do we also have a few fabulous people who hold our hearts with kindness and compassion?
If you do not have them, find them! If you cannot find them, be one! When we are loved, or bring love, we can shift from the sadness around us and bring hope and strength, to ourselves and others.
“Love allows us to shift.
We accumulate joy and sorrow,
love and loss, all through our lives…”
