Listening in the Fear

We have demanding work ahead of us, but not the kind you imagine. It is time we listen to what we say to ourselves and where that leads us.” Rejecting Fear

I cannot hear well in the dark because of a hearing loss. I wear hearing aids, but I also read lips. When the world around us is dark with fear, violence, and war, it is challenging to hold onto love, hope, and light; but we must. Those who are fighting for their lives, those who survive shrapnel and siege will need our hope, our prayers, our help.

In the midst of the darkness, stand close enough to those you love so that you can remind them, and yourself, not to be afraid. Fear leads us along paths that do not strengthen us. There is always a flag of freedom flying in the hearts of those who hope, even if it does not fly in the night sky.
