It’s a New Day!

Every Christmas morning for 19 years we have had cinnamon rolls for breakfast, except 2021.

I am sure you have your own disappointments, struggles and challenges from last year, but this was a heart breaker. Of course, I was so unwell I could not have made them or enjoyed them; but Christmas without cinnamon rolls is bleak indeed. And you cannot just go back and make up for what is lost: the moments, the memories and meals cannot be recovered, but hope can, and we can begin again today

I was too sick, but now I am better. I woke on this first day of the New Year, and decided not to be disappointed with what was, but create what I wanted: a cheerful day, beautiful food, melt-in-your-mouth goodness, and joy in a pan.

Following the overnight cinnamon rolls recipe, I got what I wanted!

What about you? What do you want to create this year?

Gather the ingredients and go for it....

  • It could be a big dream, so you will need courage, hope and faith!

  • It could be big changes, so you will need wisdom, insight, and stamina.

  • It could be small steps in a new direction, so you will need clarity, certainty, and determination.

Take some time, not to make New Year's resolutions, but to ponder what you need to create something new in 2022.

I need peace, grace, and courage.

Share what you need for your recipe for success for the year ahead.
