Angel’s Landing
Some places it seems you need wings to get to…seriously.
We hiked a few days out in Zion National Park earlier this month, and I am thankful that when I took this picture, I had no idea I would actually climb up there.
To the top.
With chains to hold onto.
Not for decoration, but because you needed them.
Certain days are like climbing to the tip of Angel’s Landing: worth all the effort, fighting against every fear, facing the canyon wall in front of you.
Most days we need chains to hold onto: behaviors that keep us close to our goals and safely connected to what is rock solid, not our thoughts and attitudes, that can change in a moment’s notice.
Every day we need to remember to put one step in front of the other, hold on tight to what we have committed to, and just keep going, keep climbing!
Where are you going to land?
What might be holding you back? Face and reject the fear and find the chains that keep you connected to who you are and who you want to become.
