A New Canvas

I could sure use a new canvas about now, how about you? I need a fresh perspective on nearly all that is around me. A new year is just the right time to look again at what I am creating, and how my thoughts, attitudes and beliefs color my world and spill out onto all those around me. I'm going to take a little inventory of my supplies.


What if I carefully choose how I work on the masterpiece that is my heart and life? I am in charge of the canvas, the tools, the paints and what the design will be. Slowly, as the year has begun, I've noticed that old roles and resentments don't belong on the new cloth, they seem to be tainting it with darker colors than I intend. And the incessant internal conversation that wearies me and worries me, doesn't help me pick up the new; time to let go.


What are you wanting to create?


I'd like to challenge you to take time today and listen to your heart, listen to the conversation you have with yourself, and pick up some new tools, new paints.
